<p>Lucy and I had been wondering what was eating some of her plants&#8230;and yesterday we discovered an inchworm. We had a lot of fun getting it a leaf, watching it eat, and inch. We left it on the table overnight, and in the morning it had eaten a small hole in the leaf.</p>

<p>Afterwards we looked up some cool videos of caterpillars turning into butterflies&#8230;and the inchworm song.<br />

The first one has a young <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wink_Martindale">Wink Martindale</a> fretting over his wife&#8217;s spending habits (checkout his expression when he sees the latest bill.) Also, check out Wink&#8217;s monitor collection!</p>
<p>The second video is from the bay area&#8217;s own KRON-TV. I love the caption they give to one of the interviewees, &#8220;owns a home computer&#8221;. Also, it&#8217;s cool how they mention that  &#8221;it only takes two hours to download a newspaper&#8221; at about $5 an hour.</p>
<p>Yep, a $10 newspaper w/ no graphics that only ties up my phone line fora couple of  hours? Where do I sign up? BTW, talk about memories&#8230;who can forget that pleasant &#8220;EEEEWWAAAHHHEEEE&#8221; modem connection sound? Yep, you&#8217;ll get to experience it again in this video. Hmmm, all this nostalgia has me jonesing for a <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marathon_(candy)">Marathon bar</a>.</p>
