Here’s a video showing the kid doing a bit of walking. It’s quite amazing how fast she’s now developing. I mean, it was just last month that the kid figured out how to stand without assistance (and that was only for a second or two!) Yep, the baby milestones are being hurdled at an increasingly rapid rate. Wow.

This past week Lucy has been making great strides toward walking. She can stand unaided for a long time, and then can take a few careful, measured steps toward a supporting object (i.e. Mom, Dad, or couch). She also can race around the edges of a room like nobody’s business, by relying on couches, shelves, big TVs, the wall, or whatever is handy. GMommy says this counts as walking, so she is officially a walker now! Special thanks to Auntie Laura for this post’s picture.
