Kindergarten

We went to check out a potential kindergarten yesterday, and had a lot of fun. It’s a bit bittersweet looking at schools for my baby already…sigh…how did she get to be school-aged so fast?!

The kindergarten room was warm and welcoming (literally, as it was biting cold outside), with wonderful waldorf toys to inspire open-ended play.

We enjoyed meeting the other parents and kids, as well as the talented teachers (who could both sing!). The classroom was a calm, relaxed, and homelike environment.

Afterwards we played a bit in the playground, and checked out the school store. Oh, and almost caused a 300 parent pickup wait because I had parked in an inopportune spot. Oops! Sorry!

(Note to self: must remember that everyone drives to school nowadays. And that rush hours and traffic jams exist. )
