December, 2010 Collage
A few Lucy quotes from the past year:
“Lucy (w/ blanket and dolly): “Here, put tiny special (Lucy’s favorite blanket) on her.”
Daddy: “You should. You’re her mommy.”
Lucy: “But you’re her daddy!”
—Playing, assigning parental duties“You’re a toot and toots don’t follow!”
— Lucy sharing an observation“You look like a freak with your tongue outside your mouth!”
— Lucy sharing another observationLucy: “You’re the freak!”
Mommy: “You’re the freak.”
Lucy: “You’re the freak!”
Mommy: “You’re the freak.”
(repeat)
— A loving conversation between mother and daughter
Wow, a full decade into the 2000′s already. Was that fast or what? It doesn’t seem that long ago when we were talking about Y2K stuff! Oh well, here’s an end-of-the-month collage. Some happenings from December, 2010:
- Jill became a barber for a day
- Lucy went to her second ballet
- Christmas
- A second visit to the Dickens Fair
- Mike visited Skywalker Ranch
- We had a Pirate Party
- A visit to the Waldorf School
- It was a good month for movies. Thanks to the holiday break, I got to see all of the following in December. I liked ‘em all except for Tron:
- Toy Story 3
- More Than a Game
- The Kids Are All Right
- Scott Pilgrim vs. The World
- Exit Through the Gift Shop
- Easy A (The movie’s ok but Emma Stone is really good)
- Tron: Legacy
- Along with some ESPN 30 for 30 shows (mostly via YouTube):
- ESPN 30 for 30: The Best That Never Was (my favorite episode so far)
- ESPN 30 for 30: Without Bias
- ESPN 30 for 30: The “U”
- ESPN 30 for 30: Fernando Nation

nice collage! as long as you are counting movies, Lucy and I watched The Sound of Music for the first time yesterday, and we have been watching the Nutcracker (SF Ballet version) a lot. She loves “My Favorite Things” and loathes the Mouse King.

Ha, she was calling Wubie “the mouse king” the other day.

Wow, Chuckles made the collage! He makes quite an impression, huh?

Even Wubie said, “He’s pretty cool, for a dog!”
