Planting a garden
Lucy had all her plants and seeds and supplies from the garden center, and was ready to plant her garden. But she needed a little help.
So we invited Auntie and Uncle to come down last weekend to help. Auntie brought some pots and tools, and lots of know-how to get Lucy started.
It was a lot of fun, fairly messy, and afterwards we had lots of new pots of plants and seeds. Thanks Auntie for all your help!
p.s. … Lucy is sorry for squirting you in the ear!

It’s been great how Lucy and her mom have been checking on their garden daily. They were both so excited today when they saw that the seeds they’d planted just a few days ago were already starting to sprout. Go, girls!

Yay! Glad the seeds are sprouting, that must be quite amazing for Lucy to see. She is not sorry for squirting me in the ear, I bet–and would do it again if given the chance! I’ll think twice before giving a 2 year old a squirt bottle again
Maybe Lucy can come up and help me plant some seeds in my garden!

BTW, I like Lucy’s squirt bottle technique. She uses one hand to hold and aim the bottle, one hand to pull the trigger.
