Lucy’s Bookshelf
One of Lucy’s favorite things to do involves crawling over to her “library” (the bottom shelves of our bookcase), pulling herself up to her feet, and tossing to the floor any books that happen to catch her interest.
She’ll then flip through the pages of each book, as if she’s getting caught up with her reading. She seems to have varied interests, reading a hard-hitting autobiography here (“I Am A Bunny“), a classic there (“The Hungry Thing“). We can’t wait until the day she starts reading us stories from her library.

Thanks! I take that as a compliment (though I don’t know if she’d feel the same!)

how right you are! They both spend a lot of their time ‘pw.’
She’d rather play with my books, but after a few torn covers, she’s been relegated to the kiddie shelf!
She is also an effective shredder of junk mail–as long as she doesn’t swallow it in the process.
