We Meet Again, Bicuspid
Jill single-handedly pried the kid’s drooler open with…uh, a single hand, then snapped a few shots with the other of what we originally thought would be the precursor of an incoming tooth. Ha, but the story turned out to have more bite than we had anticipated!
Once we dumped the pics in iPhoto, we discovered there may actually be two teeth racing for the kid’s gumline (click the pic above to enlarge.) I’m sure more info will chew its way to the forefront on this emerging news story.
BTW, this teeth news reminded me of a great scene from Family Guy where Stewie (that’s him in the red overalls) starts getting his first teeth:
Stewie: Aaagghh, my teeth!
Stewie’s incisor: I’m free! Free! I claim this mouth in the name of Incisor.
Stewie’s bicuspid: I think not.
Incisor: (Gasp!) Bicuspid! We meet again.
Bicuspid: Have at you!
Incisor: En garde!
[They struggle to move near each other but don't budge.]
Bicuspid: Well, shall we bite the tongue, then?
Incisor: On three. One, two…
Stewie: Aaahhh!!!
