Hello Kitty to the Rescue
Jill caught a cold recently. Fortunately, her doctor assured us that it wouldn’t have any ill effects on the baby.
One thing the cold did do: basically give Jill carte blanche to whatever her heart desired. Here’s a partial list list of what I’ve fetched for the little wheezer lately:
- Hello Kitty Humidifier
(she was very specific about this particular model) - Ricola Cough Drops
- Ice Cream (my thinking is this isn’t great for a cold, but how can I refuse a sick girl in her hour of need?)
- Various DayQuil/NightQuil, cough stuff (of course, after purchasing this stuff I figured out pregnant wheezers shouldn’t even use it–doh!)
- Crackers (huh?)
- Soup
She’s actually pretty clever in portraying all of her wants as vital components in remedying her cold.
“Crackers help my digestion!”
“That Hitchcock book would help me clear my head!”
“Boy, $20 would help my general disposition!”
I think she’s been taking notes from Wubert on how to get one’s way!
